I love the Light Shield for my GameCube controller! A very sturdy but also lightweight case perfect for keeping my GC controller safe. Clips on and stays on very well, perfect for throwing my controller in my bag with multiple other items without fear of damaging the sticks, shoulder or regular buttons. Would definitely recommend!

I received this as a gift several months ago. This thing works great. It snaps satisfyingly into place every time and it feels very secure. My one minor complaint is that it's difficult to wrap your controller cord around it, but aside from that it's a fantastic product. Would recommend.

Really happy with this one. Chose this model because I like the cage aesthetic of the light shield. Main priority is protecting the joystick when I throw the controller in the backpack. Fit is snug and snaps on/off easily if you’re scared it’ll pop off just wrap the cord around as well and you’re good to go.

The fit is pretty great; it snaps on in a super satisfying way, doesn't seem to be able to pop off easily, but comes off with no problem when you actually want it to. I always have to put a decent amount of thought into how I position my controllers in my backpack, but these will grant significant freedom of mind in that regard. The ONLY reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think the Power Shield or Full Shield would be better. The plastic is somewhat flexible, so given enough force they may be able to touch the analog sticks or buttons, but I doubt that would be an issue with the Power or Full Shields. In the end though, this is a very cool product; never even considered the possibility of something like this existing. Will likely be purchasing one for my Switch Pro controller in the future.

Absolute necessity. If you throw your controller in your backpack while traveling to tournaments, this is a must. New model is super easy and snaps on with a perfect fit. LightShield really upped their game with this release
